"This one was much better than the last. We all enjoyed reading about this creative and unique little ant. She is a trend setter and admired by the rest of her "family" even though she wants to stand out and be different, and at first she doesn't appreciate everyone copying her ideas, she comes to appreciate her value to the rest of the "hill""

A Very Special Ant Riverboat Series Chapter Books Ingo Blum Tanya Maneki Books Reviews
- Finn, Shylow and Titus were best friends and
Love spending time together. Their favorite thing is going down the river in a canoe. They were looking for an adventure and stopped for lunch, they had a blanket and basket with food. They heard a noise and discovered an ant 🜠who was sad. She was bored. Every day was like the last. She was thinking of moving just so it would be different. She ran off and the friends followed behind. While they were gone, the rest of the ants decided to steal the rest of the food, blanket, and basket. When the boys came back they saw their food leaving. The ants ðŸœðŸœ took off. They decided to share. They also decided to help Wendy th depressed ant. What they did and how they used paint is totally up to you to find out.
This is a great chapter book for your youngster. The words are not too hard and the chapters are not too long. These three buddies are fun to follow on their many journeys. You can enjoy the book together or let your kid tell you about it as they go along.
I found this book on a website for free for an honest review. - My children love to read and I am so happy that there are books like this one out there that I can read to them.
- I would recommend this book to other people. My grandkids said they would read this book again. My daughter not so much as she felt it was too long. I would definitely read this story again. I enjoyed it.
1st child My favorite part of the story was when everybody helped Wendy build her house on the log.
2nd child My favorite part of the book was when they had the party celebrating their new ant colony. And when Wendy was making her house beautiful.
3rd child My favorite part of the story was when the other ants kept copying Wendy.
Me My favorite part of the book was the illustrations. I just wish there had been more. I liked that the pictures proceeded the story. I just wish that the Queen Mom had told Wendy how special she was and it was proven by how the others copied her great ideas. Also, how she is a born leader and that’s why she chose her as the future Queen. - The third chapter book in the Riverboat series, this beautifully illustrated story really makes you think about what makes us individuals and special. Both myself and my nieces enjoyed it very much, and I love the fact you can read the books in this series as standalone stories too, though they're so sweet that you'll want to read them all!
NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions - I received a copy of this book from Hidden Gems Books and have voluntarily read and reviewed it.
This is another children's chapter book in the Riverboat series by Ingo Blum. It has very nice colorful pictures throughout it and is easy to follow and understand. This book has a nice message that I think children will identify with and enjoy. - This one was much better than the last. We all enjoyed reading about this creative and unique little ant. She is a trend setter and admired by the rest of her "family" even though she wants to stand out and be different, and at first she doesn't appreciate everyone copying her ideas, she comes to appreciate her value to the rest of the "hill"
- This is a good story about friends, individuality and sharing. Was a little concerned that my grandson wasn't interested at first but as the story went on, he began having a good reaction and paying more attention to the story. We received this book for free from the author. I would recommend this book to family and friends. It teaches a good lesson and has "cool" (as my grandson says) characters.
- I read the other - non-chapter - version of this book, and I like this one a lot more; it's more elaborate and therefore the tale feels fuller. I think children in the recommended age group will love it.
~ I am leaving this honest review in exchange for a free ARC copy digital copy, provided by Hidden Gems ~
